Mr. Kinney has designed scenery for over 150 productions for live theater, television, trade shows and media events.  His work has been see at many regional theatres such as A Noise Within, Pasadena; South Coast Repertory, Costa Mesa; San Diego Repertory; Prince Music Theatre, Philadelphia; and Pittsburgh City Theatre.

 

Mr. Kinney has also worked on television productions such as MTV’s BATTLE RAPS, Dave Chappelle’s EQUANIMITY & THE BIRD REVELATIONS, ROY WOOD JR: FATHER FIGURE, BASKETBALL WIVES, LARRY THE CABLE GUY'S CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR and JEOPARDY! He is a recipient of the NEA/TCG Career Development Program for Designers and holds a M.F.A. from the Yale School of Drama and a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
